The Yale SL Touchscreen Deadbolt is a deadbolt which can be operated from the outside by a touch screen keypad. From the inside one simply uses the thumb-turn to either lock or unlock it. Furthermore, both inside and outside can be operated by device via Bluetooth. It has the versatility of key-less operation while still retaining the functionality of keyed entry and is a great addition to any smart home. It's perfect for front doors, side or back doors, and garage entry doors. The touchscreen is illuminated for convenient night time entry and programmable with up to 25 user codes. Reversible handing enables it to be installed on left or right handed doors and the motorized tapered bolt helps align door during operation. Packaged with 4 AA alkaline batteries and a 9V backup battery.
