This is a single cylinder deadbolt which is thrown by a thumb turn on the interior while the exterior uses a key for locking and unlocking. It features a solid brass construction with hardened steel bolt for maximum durability and security and fits most standard preparation doors between 1-3/8" and 3" thick. A heavy gauge steel under-strike and brass trim strike is supplied with every deadbolt.
