The Emtek Modern Electronic Keypad Deadbolt is a single cylinder deadbolt operated by push button keypad or key from the outside and by thumb-turn on the inside. It is a combination of style, function and security all wrapped up into a perfect addition to any home. No more digging for keys or making dozens of copies, the electronic keypad deadbolt comes factory programmed with 2 unique, secure codes right out of the box and can be programmed for up to 20 additional codes of your choice. To lock your Emtek keypad, simply push the Emtek button and turn the exterior thumb-turn. To unlock it, enter the 4 digit code and turn the same thumb-turn. Programming changes can be made easily using the keypad. Emtek's keypads have a protective coating to prevent wear patterns, and are illuminated for easy and quick operation after dark. A low battery indicator lets you know when it's time to change the battery.
